Pink Strawberry Kiss Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wet Mix

01 - 1 cup room temp butter, without salt (226g)
02 - 1 cup white sugar (200g)
03 - 1 big egg, not cold
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
05 - 1/2 teaspoon almond flavor (skip if you want, but it makes strawberry taste better!)

→ Dry Mix

06 - 2 cups regular flour (250g)
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 box (3 oz) strawberry jello powder

→ Toppings

10 - 24-30 chocolate kisses, papers removed
11 - 1/4 cup confectioners sugar for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Mix butter and sugar in a large bowl until it gets fluffy, roughly 2-3 minutes. Add your egg and flavor stuff until everything's blended nicely.
02 - Toss in the strawberry jello and keep mixing until your dough turns a nice shade of pink.
03 - In another bowl, mix up flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add this to your pink stuff until you end up with a soft pink dough.
04 - Take spoonfuls of dough, roll them into balls and put them on baking sheets with parchment. Make a dent in each one for the chocolate later!
05 - Stick them in a 350°F oven for about 10-12 minutes until they're done but still soft. Let them sit on the pan for a few minutes after.
06 - While they're still warm, push a chocolate kiss into each dent. Then move them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
07 - After they're totally cool and the chocolate's hardened, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to make them look fancy!

# Notes:

01 - You can keep these cookies in a sealed container for 5 days
02 - You can make the dough early and keep it in the fridge for 3 days
03 - Everything works better when your stuff isn't cold from the fridge
