Garlic Parmesan Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - Zest of a lemon
02 - 4 tablespoons olive oil, high quality if possible
03 - 4 cloves of garlic, minced or pressed
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
05 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
06 - 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

→ Main Ingredients

08 - 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped, for topping
09 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
10 - 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined

# Instructions:

01 - In a big glass or plastic bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, and seasonings. Add shrimp and toss until they're coated thoroughly. Cover the bowl using plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-3 hours.
02 - Preheat your oven to 400°F. Take the bowl out and mix in Parmesan cheese with the shrimp.
03 - Put the shrimp in a single layer on a baking tray or a 13x9-inch casserole dish. Bake for about 8 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through and turn pink.
04 - Once cooked, sprinkle parsley over the shrimp and drizzle some olive oil for a little more flavor before serving.

# Notes:

01 - If you're using frozen shrimp, be sure to fully thaw them in the fridge the night before.
