Sweet Potato Twist (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lime.
02 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley.
03 - 2 teaspoons dried parsley.
04 - 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds.
05 - 1/3 cup bourbon.
06 - 1 teaspoon black pepper.
07 - 2 teaspoons salt.
08 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
09 - 3 sweet potatoes.
10 - 2 tablespoons canola oil.
11 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar.
12 - 3 tablespoons butter.
13 - 1/4 cup pecans.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter with the rest of the sugar. Mix in ginger and bourbon until bubbly. Finish by adding lime, salt, pepper, parsley, and pecans.
02 - Simmer potatoes in salty water for 7 minutes. Add some brown sugar along with salt and pepper.
03 - In a pan with hot canola oil, fry the potatoes until both sides look golden.
04 - Pour the sauce over everything. Sprinkle parsley, pomegranate seeds, and lime zest to finish.

01 - Use lightly toasted pecans.
02 - Keep potatoes dry before frying.
03 - It's best to lower the heat when making the sauce.
