Simple No-Boil Lasagna (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound minced beef
02 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
03 - 2 (14-ounce) tins diced tomatoes
04 - 2 (6-ounce) tins tomato paste
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 teaspoons mixed Italian herbs
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
09 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic granules
10 - 1 (8-ounce) pack oven-ready lasagna sheets
11 - 1 cup grated mozzarella
12 - 1 cup cottage or ricotta cheese
13 - 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
14 - 6 slices buffalo mozzarella
15 - Fresh parsley, chopped for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Cook beef with oil until browned, pour off extra fat. Toss in tomatoes, paste and all seasonings. Cook gently for 5 minutes.
02 - Spread layers of pasta sheets, meat mix, and cheese blends in a greased dish. Keep stacking. Finish with fresh mozzarella on top.
03 - Wrap with aluminum foil and pop in a 350°F oven for 35-45 minutes. Then remove foil and cook another 10 minutes.
04 - Wait 10 minutes before cutting into portions. Sprinkle with parsley if you want.

01 - Swap ricotta for cottage cheese if you prefer
02 - The pasta sheets don't need pre-cooking
03 - Waiting helps it set for clean slices
