Spinach Cheese Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 store-bought 9-inch pie crust

→ Filling

02 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1 cup heavy cream
04 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
05 - 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
06 - 3 large eggs
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

→ Seasonings

08 - 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
11 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Optional Garnish

12 - Fresh herbs
13 - Diced tomatoes

# Instructions:

01 - Warm olive oil in a pan and sauté spinach until soft, or use thawed frozen spinach and press out excess liquid.
02 - Whisk eggs, ricotta, cream, and Parmesan with seasonings. Gently mix in spinach.
03 - Spread the filling evenly over the pie crust. Sprinkle mozzarella on top.
04 - Bake at 375°F for around 35-40 minutes. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting.

01 - Fresh spinach or the frozen kind both work fine here.
02 - Cooling helps get cleaner slices.
