Spicy Ramen Quick Meal (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Noodles

01 - 1 pack (3 oz) instant ramen, toss out the flavoring packet

→ Sauce & Aromatics

02 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
03 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
04 - ½ teaspoon brown sugar, or more if you'd like
05 - 1 teaspoon chopped green onions (whites only)
06 - 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
07 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon sliced green onion for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Boil water in a pot. Cook the ramen until it’s just firm enough to bite, and toss out the seasoning packet.
02 - Keep aside ¼ cup of the noodle water before draining everything.
03 - Mix the soy sauce with the brown sugar in a small dish and leave it ready.
04 - Warm sesame oil on medium heat in a pan. Stir-fry the garlic and onion first. Toss in the chili flakes after about 1 minute.
05 - Pour in the sauce, along with the water you kept from the noodles. Stir the ramen into the pan, coat evenly, and sprinkle green onions on top before serving hot.
