Pomegranate Jelly Sweet Morning (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1.75 oz dry pectin packet.
02 - Optional: 1 spoon of butter.
03 - 7 cups granulated white sugar.
04 - 5 cups pure pomegranate juice.

# Instructions:

01 - Soak the lids and jars in warm soapy water, then rinse and place them on a towel to air dry.
02 - Crush fresh fruit and strain the liquid if you're not using pre-made juice.
03 - In a large pot, stir butter, juice, and pectin together. Heat it until it starts boiling.
04 - Place washed jars in hot water to warm them through.
05 - Pour in sugar all at once. Stir it well and let it boil again. Keep cooking for 2 1/2 minutes.
06 - Turn off the heat and scoop the foam off the surface.
07 - Pour the hot liquid into the warm jars, leaving about 1/4 inch on top. Wipe the rims and secure the lids.
08 - Submerge filled jars in boiling water for 10 minutes with the pot covered. Allow them to cool down for a proper seal.

# Notes:

01 - Butter reduces foaming.
02 - Make sure to check if your lids need pre-warming or not.
03 - Leave more room if you're freezing the jars.
