Turn the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square dish.

In a mixing bowl, stir pecan pieces, brown sugar, melted butter (just 2 tbsp), and cinnamon together.

Open up the crescent dough and pull apart triangles. Place a cube of cream cheese and some pecan filling at the wide end. Roll 'em up and pinch the edges tight.

Line up the rolls in your greased dish, pour the rest of the melted butter on top, and sprinkle whatever's left of the pecan mix.

Pour the cream soda around the rolls, then bake for 30-35 minutes, or until they're a nice golden color. Serve them while warm.
