Lemon Garlic Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Protein

01 - 4 skin-on salmon fillets; aim for center cuts if possible

→ Sauce Ingredients

02 - 1/3 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed (you'll need about two large lemons)
03 - 1 cup heavy cream, let it sit out to lose its chill
04 - 4 cloves of garlic, chopped super fine
05 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter

→ Seasonings and Finishing Touches

06 - Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper, adjust to taste
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - A handful of chopped fresh parsley, about 2 tablespoons
09 - Lemon slices, to decorate the dish

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven up to 375°F (or 190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish by brushing or drizzling with olive oil—this avoids sticking later.
02 - Lay the salmon fillets flat in your oiled dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper generously to bring out the natural flavors.
03 - In a small pan, heat up olive oil over medium heat. Toss in minced garlic and stir, letting it cook gently until fragrant, which takes about a minute.
04 - Add butter, lemon juice, and heavy cream to the saucepan. Turn the heat to low and stir occasionally. Keep going until the mixture thickens just enough.
05 - Carefully pour your creamy sauce over the seasoned salmon. Make sure all the fish is coated evenly.
06 - Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the fish is flaky yet still moist to bite into.
07 - Sprinkle the parsley on top and arrange those lemon slices along the edges to make it pop. Serve it warm with the tasty sauce draped over each piece.

# Notes:

01 - Try pairing this with roasted veggies or steamed asparagus for a complete meal
02 - Letting your salmon sit at room temperature before cooking will make it cook evenly
