Heart Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tube (12.4 oz) of store-bought cinnamon rolls (such as Pillsbury) or your own homemade batch
02 - A little flour for rolling, if you're making dough yourself

→ Homemade Cream Cheese Icing (Optional)

03 - 4 oz of room-temperature cream cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter
05 - 1 cup of powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)
06 - 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
07 - 1-2 tablespoons of milk (to thin the icing if needed)

→ Decoration

08 - Sanding sugar or sprinkles in red, pink, and white
09 - Optional: Edible glitter for extra sparkle

# Instructions:

01 - Gently loosen the cinnamon roll spiral and pinch one end to form the heart's tip. Push the top edges into a rounded shape to complete the heart.
02 - If the dough starts sticking during shaping, pop it into the fridge for 10-15 minutes to firm it up before continuing.
03 - Use the baking directions on the package for pre-made dough, or follow your own for homemade dough.
04 - Blend together the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla. Add milk bit by bit to thin it out as needed.
05 - Spread the icing over the rolls while warm, and quickly add your decorations so everything sticks well.

# Notes:

01 - Works with either pre-made dough or from-scratch dough
02 - To make it festive, you can tint the icing with pink or red food dye
03 - They're best enjoyed fresh and warm from the oven
04 - The icing can be colored pink or red to match special occasions
