French Toast Airfryer Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 6 bread slices (slightly old is ideal), chopped into small cubes.

→ Custard Mixture

02 - 3 large eggs, should be at room temp.
03 - 1/4 cup milk
04 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (the good stuff!)
06 - 1/4 cup brown sugar for a touch of caramel flavor
07 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

# Instructions:

01 - Toss eggs, sugar, vanilla, milk, cinnamon, and salt into a roomy bowl. Whisk it all together until it’s velvety smooth and mixed well.
02 - Chop your bread into small, bite-friendly cubes. Dunk them into the custard so every piece gets soaked through. Don’t miss a spot!
03 - Spray your air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray. Lay out the bread cubes in a single layer, making sure there’s no overlap—they need space to crisp up!
04 - Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes. Shake the tray gently halfway through to make sure everything cooks evenly. The goal is golden and crispy on the outside, soft inside.
05 - Serve these warm, crispy bites fresh out of the fryer. Top with whatever you love—powdered sugar, syrup, or juicy berries work great!

# Notes:

01 - Older bread works much better because it soaks up the custard without turning too mushy.
02 - Crispiness matters! Cook in smaller batches to let each piece cook perfectly without crowding.
