Festive Pastry Trees (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 sheets of puff pastry, standard or gluten free option.
02 - 1/4 cup melted sweet butter, unsalted.
03 - 1/4 cup white sugar.
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
05 - Icing sugar for sprinkling on top.
06 - 8 wooden sticks.
07 - 8 Rolo chocolate caramels (if desired).

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 350°F. Put parchment on your baking tray. Mix up the cinnamon and white sugar in a little bowl.
02 - Lay down one pastry sheet on the parchment. Brush some melted butter over it, then sprinkle your cinnamon sugar mix. Pop the second sheet right on top.
03 - Use a pizza cutter to slice into 1-inch strips. Fold each strip back and forth like an accordion. Poke a wooden stick through the middle of each folded piece.
04 - Brush the tops with your leftover butter. Stick them in the freezer for 10 minutes before you cook them.
05 - Pop in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they puff up and turn slightly golden. Sprinkle with icing sugar. You can stick a Rolo at the bottom of each skewer if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure your pastry isn't cold from the fridge.
02 - They're best when you eat them within a day.
03 - You can cut the sticks shorter if needed.
