Fancy Cheese Prosciutto Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread & Spread

01 - Thick cut sourdough or rustic bread, 2 slices
02 - Butter for coating

→ Cheese & Meat

03 - Half a ball of fresh mozzarella
04 - One handful of mixed shredded cheese (try cheddar, mozzarella or gruyere)
05 - Three slices of prosciutto

→ Flavors & Spices

06 - Two tablespoons of fresh basil pesto
07 - 4-5 fresh basil leaves
08 - Salt and pepper according to preference

# Instructions:

01 - Start by heating your pan on a low-medium setting. Grab your bread, butter one side of a slice, then put it down on the counter with the buttered side facing down.
02 - Start building your masterpiece with a layer of shredded cheese, then add prosciutto, followed by mozzarella slices, basil, and a dollop of pesto. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then cap it with your second bread slice. Butter the top of this slice.
03 - Drop your creation into the heated pan and let it sizzle slowly for around 5 minutes per side. You want a nice golden-brown crust outside while the cheese gets all melty inside.
