Easy Beef Teriyaki (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef.
02 - 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
03 - 1 cup chicken or beef stock.
04 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
05 - Sea salt, adjust as needed.
06 - 3 cups broccoli, chopped into pieces.
07 - ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper.
08 - 1 cup shredded carrot.
09 - ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari.
10 - 2 teaspoons sesame oil.
11 - 1 tablespoon grated orange peel.
12 - 3-4 sliced green onions.
13 - ¼-½ teaspoon chili flakes, optional.
14 - 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
15 - 2 tablespoons honey or syrup.
16 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, either grated or minced.

# Instructions:

01 - Blend soy sauce, broth, sugar, honey, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, zest, pepper, and spicy flakes in a bowl. Leave it aside.
02 - Slice and prep all your veggies first. It saves time when cooking.
03 - In a big skillet on medium-high, heat sesame oil. Stir ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes, or when it’s 160°F inside.
04 - Throw in broccoli, carrot, and the green onion. Stir everything until they’re soft but vibrant.
05 - Turn the heat down and pour in the sauce. Stir as it thickens. Pair with rice and enjoy!
