01 -
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch bread tin. Combine the flour, salt, and rising powder in a bowl.
02 -
Beat the oil, butter, and sugar till they're fluffy and pale, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs one by one, then mix in vanilla. Gradually add dry stuff and sour milk, starting with dry mix and ending with it too.
03 -
Take about 3/4 cup of your batter and put it in another bowl. Mix in dark sugar, cinnamon, and dark syrup until everything's blended well.
04 -
Pour half the plain mix into your tin. Add spoonfuls of cinnamon mix on top and swirl around. Repeat this pattern with what's left.
05 -
Stick the tin in the oven for 45-50 minutes. It's done when a toothpick comes out almost clean. Let it rest for 10 minutes in the tin afterwards.
06 -
Warm up butter in a flat dish. Mix sugars and cinnamon in another dish. Dip the cooled bread in butter, then coat with sugar mix. Wait till it's totally cool before slicing.
