Holiday Sangria Cocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A 750ml bottle of red wine.
02 - 1 cup of brandy.
03 - 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
04 - 2 handfuls of cranberries, about 2 cups.
05 - 1 orange, cut into slices.
06 - An apple, chopped into cubes.
07 - Two cinnamon sticks.
08 - 4 whole star anise pods.
09 - 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, plus extras for decoration.
10 - A bottle of chilled sparkling apple cider.
11 - Cinnamon and sugar blend for glass rims (optional).
12 - Honey or maple syrup for coating rims (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - In a big pitcher, toss together the wine, brandy, sugar, fruit, cinnamon, star anise, and rosemary.
02 - Pop it in the fridge and let it chill overnight to infuse the flavors.
03 - Right before serving, pour in the sparkling cider.
04 - Coat glass rims with some syrup or honey, then dip into the cinnamon-sugar mix.
05 - Serve over ice and top with a rosemary sprig for a pretty touch.
