Put onions with butter in pan over medium heat for 5 minutes with lid on. Then turn heat to low, stir now and then for 30-35 minutes until they're deep brown. Add vinegar to scrape up tasty bits

Shape meat into 3 patties and add salt and pepper right before cooking. Warm your griddle to 375-400°F

Add oil and cook each patty about 3 minutes on each side

Spread butter on bread pieces and brown them on the griddle for 1-2 minutes each side

Place cheese, browned onions and burger on top of one bread slice. Cover with another slice and it's ready to eat
