Set it to 425°F. Lightly coat a big baking sheet with oil.

Coat sweet potatoes with 2 tbsp of melted butter. Sprinkle in the salt and mix well. Bake for 20 minutes, giving them a toss halfway. They should start to brown slightly.

Toss the apple chunks in a mix of 1 tbsp butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon until well covered.

Stir the apple mixture into the potatoes. Bake another 15-20 minutes, giving it a stir partway through. It’s ready when golden and caramelized. Serve while warm.
