Choco Mallow Cookie Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base and Fillings

01 - 1 cup softened butter, unsalted
02 - 1 cup packed brown sugar
03 - 1/2 cup white sugar
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
06 - 2 1/2 cups regular flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate morsels
10 - 2 cups fluffy marshmallow spread

→ Topping

11 - 2 cups dark chocolate chips
12 - 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or butter

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 175°C. Butter up a 9x13-inch baking pan and put it aside for now.
02 - Mix the butter with both sugars in a big bowl until they're fluffy and well combined.
03 - Drop in eggs one by one, giving a good stir each time, then mix in the vanilla.
04 - Grab another bowl and mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly pour this into your wet mix, stirring just enough to blend everything.
05 - Stir in the chocolate chips by hand, then push the dough flat into your greased pan.
06 - Pop it in the oven for 20-25 minutes until you see golden edges. Let it cool all the way down.
07 - After it's cooled down, smear the marshmallow spread all over the cookie bottom.
08 - Put chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl. Heat them in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each zap until smooth.
09 - Drizzle the melty chocolate over your marshmallow layer and smooth it out.
10 - Let everything firm up on the counter or stick it in the fridge to harden faster. Slice into squares when you're ready to eat.

# Notes:

01 - You can keep these treats in a sealed container for about 5 days. Pop them in the fridge if you want them more solid.
