Chewy Gingerbread Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup softened butter.
02 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.
03 - 1 large egg.
04 - 1 cup regular molasses.
05 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar.
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
07 - 5 cups flour.
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
10 - 1 tablespoon ground ginger.
11 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice.
13 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves.
14 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.

# Instructions:

01 - Whip butter with sugar, then stir in egg, molasses, vinegar and vanilla.
02 - Blend flour with spices, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture until just combined.
03 - Wrap dough and pop in fridge for at least 3 hours, better overnight.
04 - Flatten dough to 1/4 inch on floured counter. Cut desired shapes.
05 - Heat at 350°F - small cookies need 6-8 minutes, medium ones 8-10, big ones 12-14.
