Mozzarella Onion Rings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 cups of cold, mashed potatoes

→ Cheese

02 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella

→ Coating

04 - Breadcrumbs, 1 cup
05 - 1 egg, whisked
06 - Olive oil or a cooking spray

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt and black pepper as needed
08 - ½ tsp onion powder
09 - ½ tsp garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Get a bowl and blend the mashed potatoes with the cheeses and your spices until well combined.
02 - Make balls about 1.5 inches across. If they're sticky, chill them a bit to firm up.
03 - Roll the balls in egg, then cover them in breadcrumbs.
04 - Pop them in the air fryer at 375°F for 10-12 minutes. Turn them over halfway for even browning.

# Notes:

01 - Using chilled mashed potatoes makes things easier.
02 - Experiment with any cheese you like best.
03 - Keep them warm at 200°F if making in sets.
