Cheese Stuffed Pretzels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 packet of dry yeast
02 - 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon of table salt
04 - 2 ½ cups plain flour
05 - 2 tablespoons melted butter (unsalted)
06 - 1 cup of warm tap water

→ Filling and Toppings

07 - Coarse salt for sprinkling on top
08 - 1 whisked egg for brushing
09 - 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
10 - ½ cup Parmesan, grated
11 - 1 tablespoon of finely chopped rosemary

→ Boiling Mix

12 - ¼ cup baking soda
13 - 10 cups of water

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together sugar, yeast, and warm water. Toss in salt, melted butter, and flour. Work it with your hands for about 5 minutes until smooth.
02 - Place dough in a covered bowl. Leave it in a warm spot for an hour so it doubles in size.
03 - Split dough into 8 pieces. Roll each into ropes, fill with mozzarella, and twist into pretzel shapes.
04 - Drop each shaped pretzel into the baking soda mix for 1–2 minutes per side.
05 - Brush the pretzels with the egg wash and sprinkle toppings. Bake at 425°F for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
