Easy Iced Chai Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Mixture

01 - 2 bags of black tea (Darjeeling or Assam)
02 - 2 cups of water

→ Flavorful Spices

03 - 1/4 teaspoon each of ground ginger and cloves
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
05 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

→ Extras

06 - 1 cup milk (plant-based or regular)
07 - 2 tablespoons honey or to taste
08 - 1 vanilla pod or 1 teaspoon extract
09 - Ice cubes as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Bring water to a boil, toss all the spices and tea bags in. Lower the heat and let it brew for 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
02 - Turn off the stove, mix in the honey and vanilla. Stir well until the honey melts in. Take out the tea bags and vanilla pod (if used).
03 - Leave the spiced tea to cool. For quicker results, place the pot in a bowl filled with ice water.
04 - Whisk the milk lightly or shake it in a sealed jar to get bubbles on top. Or warm it a bit and whip it.
05 - Drop in some ice cubes, pour the cool chai to two-thirds of the glass, then layer the milk on top. If you're using extract, add it here.

# Notes:

01 - You can keep it refrigerated for 3 days.
02 - Adjust spice amounts to suit what you like.
