Lasagna Burger (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lasagna noodle, already boiled.
02 - 3 slices of mozzarella cheese.
03 - 1 tablespoon of ricotta cheese.
04 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
05 - 1 ciabatta roll.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs.
07 - 1 tablespoon of softened butter.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
09 - 1/3 pound of ground beef, divided in two.
10 - 1/4 pound of spicy Italian sausage.
11 - Salt and pepper to taste.
12 - A pinch of red chili flakes.
13 - 14 oz of crushed tomatoes.
14 - A dash of oregano.
15 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

# Instructions:

01 - Coat both halves of the roll with butter, then sprinkle on the garlic powder and dried herbs. Toast until lightly browned.
02 - Heat olive oil and sauté the minced garlic. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and add your spices. Let it bubble for 10 minutes, and toss in the lasagna noodles at the end.
03 - Shape the sausage and beef into two smaller portions each. Get the cast iron pan hot, press the meat flat, and cook for a minute on both sides. Melt mozzarella on the beef pieces.
04 - Start stacking like this: bottom half of the bun, a beef patty, lasagna pasta with a dollop of ricotta, a sausage patty, more lasagna pasta and ricotta, another beef patty, more pasta and ricotta, top bun.
05 - Leave it alone for a bit so everything stays together better when you eat.

# Notes:

01 - This makes enough sauce for five burgers.
02 - Letting the burger rest helps keep it stable.
03 - You can grab a pre-made sauce instead.
04 - A ciabatta roll works best.
05 - This mashup is a fun mix of flavors.
06 - It’s super hearty and filling.
