Banana Choc Chip Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wet Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
02 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, light
03 - 1 large egg at room temp
04 - 1 cup smashed bananas (about 2 medium ones)
05 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 1 cup flour
07 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips, set some aside

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F (177°C). Put parchment paper in your 8x8 pan, covering bottom and sides.
02 - Zap butter in microwave till it's liquid, roughly 1 minute. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to cool down a bit.
03 - Grab a bowl and mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.
04 - Stir warm butter with brown sugar, then mix in egg, banana mush, and vanilla until everything's blended.
05 - Slowly add dry stuff into wet mixture. Gently stir in most chocolate chips, keeping some for the top.
06 - Pour batter in pan, sprinkle remaining chips on top. Cook for 30-35 minutes until middle is firm and toothpick comes out clean.
07 - Let it cool all the way before using parchment to lift it out and cut into pieces.

02 - Stays fresh in fridge for a week or freezer for a month
