Get your oven hot at 350°F (177°C). Put parchment paper in your 8x8 pan, covering bottom and sides.

Zap butter in microwave till it's liquid, roughly 1 minute. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to cool down a bit.

Grab a bowl and mix flour, baking powder, and salt together.

Stir warm butter with brown sugar, then mix in egg, banana mush, and vanilla until everything's blended.

Slowly add dry stuff into wet mixture. Gently stir in most chocolate chips, keeping some for the top.

Pour batter in pan, sprinkle remaining chips on top. Cook for 30-35 minutes until middle is firm and toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool all the way before using parchment to lift it out and cut into pieces.
