Wine Shrimp Linguine (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tablespoons butter, split.
02 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped finely, split.
03 - 4 cups chicken or veggie broth.
04 - 2 cups water.
05 - 1 pound linguine.
06 - 1 1/2 pounds big raw shrimp.
07 - 3/4 cup dry white wine.
08 - 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh sage.
09 - 1 cup heavy cream.
10 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan.
11 - 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped.
12 - 1 lemon.
13 - Salt and pepper for seasoning.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter and cook half the garlic until fragrant. Pour in broth with water, let it bubble up. Add linguine and simmer till most liquid disappears.
02 - Melt butter in another pan and quickly cook shrimp about 1-2 minutes each side.
03 - Toss in leftover garlic, sage, and pour wine over shrimp. Let the wine cook down while shrimp gets nice color.
04 - Mix your shrimp, cream, cheese and parsley into pasta. Squeeze lemon on top and add salt and pepper as you like.
