Sweet Holiday Fruit Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 600g mixed dried fruits (dates, raisins, figs).
02 - 25g chopped candied ginger.
03 - 200g assorted nuts (pine nuts, almonds, pistachios).
04 - 1 big orange, juice and zest.
05 - 1 tablespoon brandy (skip if you want).
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds.
10 - 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the dried fruits with orange juice, zest and brandy. Let them soak while you work on the nuts.
02 - Mix nuts with all spices and toast them for about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool down.
03 - Put everything in a food processor and blend until you get a thick paste you can shape.
04 - Make plum-sized balls and cover them in sugar. Keep them in the fridge overnight.
05 - Coat with sugar one more time. Store in an airtight box for a few days to let flavors blend before eating.
