Sweet Cinnamon Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups (250g) plain flour.
02 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) white sugar.
03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon fine salt.
05 - 1 1/4 cups (306g) full-fat milk.
06 - 1 large egg, at room temp.
07 - 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
08 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract.
09 - 1/4 cup (57g) melted unsalted butter (for outside).
10 - 1/2 cup (100g) white sugar (for outside).
11 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm your oven to 350°F. Coat an 8.5x4.5-inch bread tin with non-stick spray.
02 - Put flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a big bowl.
03 - In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla until smooth.
04 - Pour wet stuff into dry stuff and gently stir until just mixed. Don't beat too much.
05 - Fill your tin with the mix and bake for 60-70 minutes until a stick poked in comes out nearly clean.
06 - Let it sit for 10 minutes, take out of tin, paint with butter and roll in your spicy sugar mix.

# Notes:

01 - Never stir too hard or bread gets tough.
02 - Make sure it's still warm for the sugar coating.
03 - Leftover sugar mix keeps well for next time.
