Peppermint Oreo Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 Oreos, broken into chunks.
02 - ½ cup white chocolate bits.
03 - ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate bits.
04 - ½ cup cold cubes of butter.
05 - ¼ teaspoon table salt.
06 - ¼ cup granulated sugar.
07 - ½ cup brown packed sugar.
08 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
09 - 1 big egg.
10 - 3 teaspoons of cornstarch.
11 - ½ teaspoon each of baking soda and baking powder.
12 - 1½ cups plain flour.
13 - ½ cup of crushed peppermint candies.

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven going at 350°F. Line your pans, then chop the butter into little cubes.
02 - Beat the cubed butter with brown sugar until creamy. Toss in the egg, vanilla, and then the white sugar. Keep mixing a couple of minutes more.
03 - Blend in the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cornstarch until it all comes together.
04 - Mix in the chocolate chips, peppermint bits, and Oreo pieces. Save a little for decorating later.
05 - Scoop out ⅓ cup dough balls, press extra mix-ins on top, and bake for about 9-11 minutes till the edges look set.
