Minty Oreo Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 25 chocolate sandwich cookies.
02 - 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
03 - 8 oz softened cream cheese.
04 - 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar.
05 - Red food dye.
06 - 1 teaspoon mint flavor extract.
07 - 2 containers whipped topping, defrosted.
08 - 3/4 cup smashed peppermint candy pieces.

# Instructions:

01 - Smash cookies into crumbs using a food processor or crush with a rolling pin. Combine with melted butter and push into a 9-inch pie dish. Put in fridge to set.
02 - Whip the cream cheese with confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Drop in red food dye until you get the color you want.
03 - Gently blend in one tub of whipped topping and 1/2 cup of the crushed peppermint pieces.
04 - Spread the mixture into your cookie base. Cover with leftover whipped topping and sprinkle remaining candy bits on top.
05 - Keep in the fridge for at least an hour before you serve it.

# Notes:

01 - You don't need to turn on the oven.
02 - Needs time in the fridge before eating.
