Use a big bowl to mix the beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, and spices. Make 24 little meatballs.

Warm some olive oil in a large skillet. Brown all sides of the meatballs.

Lower the stove's heat. Add the sauce, cover the pan, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Make sure they're cooked through at 160°.

Warm up the sauce first if the meatballs are frozen. Toss them in, cover the pan, and cook for 25 minutes.

Set your broiler to high. Arrange the hotdog buns on a baking sheet, close to the broiler.

Place three meatballs in each bun. Top with sauce and sprinkle mozzarella.

Broil the filled buns for a couple of minutes until the cheese is gooey and bubbly. Keep an eye on it!
