Deep Fried Oreos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 egg.
02 - 1 cup of milk.
03 - 1 (18.71 oz) package of Double Stuf Oreos.
04 - 1 1/4 cups pancake mix, dry.
05 - 8 cups of vegetable oil.
06 - Powdered sugar to sprinkle on top.

# Instructions:

01 - Set a plate aside and cover it with paper towels.
02 - Mix the egg, milk, and dry pancake mix until smooth. If it’s too thin, stir in some extra mix.
03 - Warm oil to 375°F.
04 - Coat a few Oreos at a time in the batter, letting extra drip off. Fry them for 1-2 minutes per side until the color turns golden brown.
05 - Place fried cookies on the prepared paper-towel-lined plate to soak up the oil.
06 - Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.

# Notes:

01 - Stick with oils that can handle high heat without burning.
02 - Keep cookies spaced out in the pan or oil temperature will drop.
03 - Tastes best when freshly made.
04 - Warm leftovers in a 425°F oven for 3–5 minutes.
05 - Store in the fridge for no more than 3 days.
