Combine milk and egg in one dish.
In another, toss breadcrumbs with Parmesan, pepper, and salt.

First dip each piece of chicken in the egg mix. Then press it into the breadcrumb blend until covered.

Warm up olive oil in a pan. Brown each chicken piece for about 3-4 minutes per side, just until golden.

Add marinara to your slow cooker. Lay browned chicken over the sauce. Let it cook for 4-5 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high. Sprinkle mozzarella over the chicken in the last half hour.
