Effortless Friendsgiving Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs chicken thighs.
02 - Half an onion, sliced.
03 - Garlic bulb, halved horizontally.
04 - A quarter of a carrot.
05 - One celery stalk.
06 - 1 tablespoon of salt.
07 - 1 tablespoon whole peppercorns.
08 - Choose fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley).
09 - Enough water to fully cover.
10 - A quarter cup of butter.
11 - Half a cup chopped celery.
12 - One cup diced onion.
13 - One garlic clove, minced.
14 - Three tablespoons flour.
15 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
16 - One cup of heavy cream.
17 - Half a cup sour cream.
18 - Salt and black pepper.
19 - 6 ounces of dry stuffing mix.
20 - A quarter cup of melted butter.
21 - One cup chicken broth.
22 - Chopped parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Simmer the chicken with veggies for 15-20 minutes. Pull the chicken out.
02 - Keep the liquid on the heat, then strain once done.
03 - Melt butter and cook celery and onion till tender.
04 - Toss in the garlic, stir for about 2 minutes.
05 - Sprinkle in flour. Whisk in broth, let it thicken.
06 - Stir in heavy and sour creams. Season to taste.
07 - Set the oven to 350°F. Shred chicken, toss with sauce mix.
08 - Coat a pan with spray. Spread out the chicken mixture.
09 - Add stuffing on top, then pour over buttered broth.
10 - Pop in the oven for half an hour or until golden. Sprinkle parsley before serving.
