# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon mustard powder.
02 - 1 whole bag (20 oz) of Simply Potatoes.
03 - Dash of ground nutmeg.
04 - 3/4 cup of any milk you prefer (whole, skim, etc.).
05 - Dash of black pepper.
06 - 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded finely.
07 - A generous sprinkling of paprika on top.
08 - 3 tablespoons of butter, cut into 6 slices.
09 - 3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream.
10 - 1 teaspoon of kosher salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Thoroughly grease an 8x8 baking dish with butter.
02 - Lay the potato slices evenly across the bottom of the dish.
03 - In a saucepan, whisk together cream, milk, salt, pepper, mustard, and nutmeg.
04 - On medium-high heat, stir until the mixture is almost boiling, which takes 5 to 10 minutes.
05 - Add the shredded cheddar, lower the heat, and stir until the cheese is fully melted.
06 - Drizzle the melted cheese sauce all over the potatoes.
07 - Allow everything to sit for a moment and cool down slightly.
08 - Evenly distribute butter pieces on top of the cheese sauce.
09 - Sprinkle paprika generously over the entire dish.
10 - Cover the casserole tightly using plastic wrap.
11 - Store in the fridge for at least 12 hours, or overnight for best results.
12 - Set your oven temperature to 350°F.
13 - Bake for 45 minutes uncovered until bubbly and golden on top.
