Set up baking sheets with parchment paper. Put Crispix into a bowl safe for microwaving.

Melt butter, sugar, syrup, and vanilla in a saucepan. Stir while it boils for around 2 minutes. Mix in baking soda and let it bubble before it settles.

Drizzle caramel onto the Crispix gently. Stir, microwave for 1 minute, and mix again. Do this 3 more times.

Spread the mix on parchment paper. Add a sprinkle of sea salt. Let it cool, then break it apart.
