Beef Onion Spirals (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - One pack of puff pastry (2 sheets).
02 - Store-bought French onion dip (one container plus some for serving).
03 - One yellow onion.
04 - Two tablespoons olive oil.
05 - Two tablespoons butter.
06 - Thinly sliced roast beef (1/2 pound).
07 - Provolone cheese slices (1/2 pound).
08 - A single egg.
09 - Three tablespoons water for the egg mix.
10 - Fresh parsley as garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Let puff pastry sit out for 40 minutes to soften. Warm up your oven to 375°F.
02 - Cook onions with olive oil until they're soft, then throw in butter and keep cooking about 5 minutes till they turn golden brown.
03 - Smear onion dip across pastry, add your caramelized onions, then top with beef and cheese. Roll it all up and seal the edge using egg mixture.
04 - Slice roll into half-inch or one-inch chunks, arrange on lined trays. Brush some egg mix on top and bake for 15-20 minutes until they look puffy and golden.
