Effortless Asian Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 ounces of noodles, like spaghetti or linguine.
02 - 1 pound of ground beef, very lean.
03 - 4 tablespoons of hoisin sauce.
04 - 1/2 cup of soy sauce, low-sodium variety.
05 - 1/2 cup of beef stock.
06 - 6 minced garlic cloves.
07 - 4 teaspoons of finely chopped fresh ginger.
08 - 1/2 cup brown sugar.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes if you'd like a kick.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
11 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
12 - 2 tablespoons of water.
13 - 4 medium green onions, sliced thin.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up a skillet and cook the beef till browned.
02 - Stir in ginger and garlic for the last couple of minutes. Break the meat into smaller pieces.
03 - Boil noodles separately, skip adding salt to the water.
04 - Get rid of any fat from the beef and put it back on the stove.
05 - Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, beef stock, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and brown sugar to the beef.
06 - Mix water with cornstarch and combine it with the beef. Stir until it thickens.
07 - Stir in the cooked noodles until coated. Let it sit briefly so the noodles soak up the flavors.
08 - Sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Done in just 30 minutes.
02 - Cut back the sugar if you like it less sweet.
03 - Use reduced-sodium ingredients to keep it lighter.
04 - Toss in some vegetables for extra texture.
