Baked Ziti Sausage Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups of marinara sauce.
02 - 1 pound of ziti pasta.
03 - 1 pound of mild Italian sausage.
04 - 1 cup of Romano cheese, split in half.
05 - 4 ounces of mozzarella, shredded.
06 - 8 ounces of small-diced mozzarella.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F. Grease a medium baking dish and boil the ziti until slightly firm.
02 - In a skillet on medium, brown the sausage until cooked through, then scoop it out with a slotted spoon.
03 - In a big mixing bowl, toss the pasta with the sausage, marinara sauce, ½ cup of grated Romano, and the diced mozzarella.
04 - Spread the mixture evenly in the dish, then sprinkle the remaining Romano and shredded mozzarella on top.
05 - Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Pull the foil off, crank the temperature to 375°F, and bake for another 15-20 minutes until bubbly.

01 - Can chill in the fridge overnight.
02 - Keeps in the freezer for 3 months.
03 - Feeds about 6 to 8 people.
